Kenia Johnson, Ph.D. - Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Johnson earned her doctorate in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of South Carolina. Â She provides psychological evaluation and counseling services to children and adolescents; and ADHD evaluations for adults. Â Her areas of specialization include psychological testing, learning disorders, ADHD, mood disorders, behavioral difficulties, and adjustment and interpersonal issues. Â Dr. Johnson also provides clinical supervision and consultation to training students and other clinicians.
Michelle Bacon - Licensed Professional Counselor
Michelle has over 10 years of experience within the counseling field and she has worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, grief, depression, and much more. Michelle uses an integrative treatment modality approach and tailors her techniques to meet the needs of her clients on an individual basis. Michelle is compassionate, dedicated, and strives to provide a safe place where clients can feel comfortable to process their feelings openly and work towards healing. A message from Michelle: "While the first step of therapy is always the hardest, I sincerely believe the results can be rewarding. Let’s put in the work together to help you overcome these challenges!"

Melissa Cochran - Licensed Professional Counselor
​Melissa Cochran earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Alabama. Melissa provides services to children, adolescents, and adults. She implements a strengths-based, person centered approach in her practice. Melissa’s specialty areas include anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship struggles, family changes, and parenting issues. ​
Ms. Cochran is currently accepting new patients. She provides telehealth appointments only.
Tylina Swinger, Ph.D. - Educational Psychologist
Dr. Swinger provides evaluation/diagnositician support to clients under the supervision of Dr. Johnson. She is an Educational Psychologist with a decade of diverse experience in public schools, charters, private institutions, and STEM/STEAM environments. Dr. Swinger has excelled as an Educator and Academic Coach by creating inclusive educational spaces.

Gabrielle Sledge
Licensed Assoc. Professional Counselor
​Gabrielle earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Tuskegee University. She completed her training and counseling and obtained Masters of Science degree in Clinical Counseling from Brenau University. Ms. Sledge is a Master’s Level Therapist. Currently, she is in the process of obtaining licensure with the Georgia Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage & Family Therapists. In accordance with licensure regulations, Ms. Sledge provides counseling services as a pre-licensed therapist under the supervision of Dr. Johnson. She uses a multi-modal approach to counseling. Her areas of expertise are mood disorders, adjustment disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. She works with children, adolescents, adults. Ms. Sledge enjoys helping her clients to make the necessary changes to sustain better overall health. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching crime shows and spending time with family.
Lynne Rodriguez, M.A.
Master's Level Social Worker
Lynne was born and raised in Harlem, New York. She obtained her Master's Degree in Social Work in 2003, from the Hunter College School of Social Work, in New York, NY. Lynne relocated to Georgia in 2005 with her family. She has worked in various settings, such as schools, hospitals, preventive agencies, foster care & adoption agencies, the Administration for Children's Services in NY and Skilled Nursing Facilities. Lynne works primarily with older adults dealing with anxiety, depression and various mental health disorders.

Kassie Green
Licensed Assoc. Professional Counselor, NCC
Kassie Green is an Associate Therapist at Sweetwater Psychological Associates, LLC where we utilize evidence-based treatment modalities to assist our clients. Kassie earned her BA in Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies from Valdosta State University and her master’s in professional counseling from Argosy University-Atlanta. Kassie grew up in Irwinton, Georgia and moved to the Metro Atlanta Area in 2000 where she currently resides. Kassie also holds the following certifications: National Certified Counselor-2019, Certified Grief Specialist-2020, and a Certified Anger Management Specialist-2015 (CAMS-II). She believes that it is important to meet clients where they are and assist them with coping skills to overcome barriers and achieve their goals. Kassie’s goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and confidential space for clients to feel they can express themselves openly and freely. Kassie ensures that she will walk alongside her clients through their process to assist with meeting their goals and potential. Kassie enjoys working with all ages. Her primary focus is working with young children, tweens, and teens. Areas of specialty include anger management, anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, and coping skills. Ethell Jackson
Administrative Assistant
Ethell Jackson is a native of Gulport, Mississippi. She graduated from Phillips College in Gulport, MS. Ethell has career experience in real-estate property management. She joined Sweetwater Psychological Associates in February 2018. Ethell enjoys exercising, reading, traveling, and singing with her church choir.
