Sweetwater Psychological Associates, LLC is a
multidisciplinary outpatient mental health practice with two psychologists, David C. Martin, Ph.D. and David
E Stone, Ph.D. and two clinical social workers, Marsharee Chastain, LCSW and Sandra K. Young-Whigham,
LCSW, Psy.D. Together, our providers have over 100 years of experience in the assessment and treatment of children,
adolescents, couples and families.
Individual, group and family therapy are used to treat a number of psychological problems including
depression, anxiety disorders, stress disorders, behavior disorders and substance abuse disorders.
Marital and couples therapy, as well as family therapy are used to increase problem solving communication and conflict resolution.
Special group and individual programs to improve anger management skills are also available. Psychological
testing and assessment of children, adolescents and adults are conducted to assist with the diagnosis of emotional and
personality disorders. Psychological Testing for Specific Learning disorders and ADHD assessments are conducted
for children above 6 years. Adults are also evaluated as well.

LOCATIONS: We have two locations with offices in
Lithia Springs, GA and Marietta, GA. Please click on each location for directions.
Hours: Our administrative office is open from 10
AM to 4PM Monday through Friday, and closed for the noon hour. You can make or change your appointments
during these hours.
Client Sessions: Clients are seen by appointment
only. An appointment is 45 minutes in length, unless special arrangements have been made. Each provider has their
own schedule but they generally begin seeing clients on the hour beginning at 10 AM, with their last appointment scheduled
at 5 PM or 6 PM., Monday through Friday. Some providers have limited office hours on Saturday.
