OFFICE PROCEDURES

Our providers see their clients or patients by appointment only, with each provider having different office schedules. Our administrative assistant is available to respond to phone calls and emails Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM to make appointments and answer your questions.

Insurance?

If you will be using your insurance, our office staff will confirm and then file your primary insurance. You will be expected to pay your estimated insurance deductibles and co-payments at the time of your appointment.

A 24 hour notice of cancellation is required to avoid charges for a missed appointment.

Sweetwater Psychological Associates and its providers participate in most private and Government insurance plans including HMO’s, PPO’s, and EAP’s from Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, or United Health Care, and Tricare. However, there are exceptions so call your insurance carrier to confirm that the provider you want to see is on your Insurance panel.

Some Insurance plans require that you call them prior to making an appointment to get their authorization for services in the form of a number or code. When you call to make an appointment you can give this “Authorization Number” to our office staff and discuss your insurance and authorization questions with our staff if you wish. They will be happy to assist you if you have any questions.

If you have no insurance coverage, reasonable payment arrangements can be made at the discretion of the provider.
